Betty Ford Center is a non-profit addiction treatment hospital celebrating twenty-six years of providing
care to women, men and families whose lives have been impacted by alcohol and other drug
dependency. Betty Ford Center offers comprehensive programs for the whole family. These programs
provide medically supervised detoxification and ongoing care for the alcoholic/addict as well as
programs which provide education and support for those who have been affected by addiction.
Specialized treatment designed for the care of women, for licensed professionals, for people who have
been unable to maintain recovery after treatment and for those with psychiatric problems secondary to
addiction is available. A nationally recognized Children’s Program of prevention and education is

UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs
The UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs (ISAP) conducts research, provides research
training and clinical training, and arranges treatment for substance abuse disorders in
coordination with the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and in
affiliation with community-based treatment providers. ISAP efforts span the spectrum of
scientific and clinical activities pertinent to the investigation and amelioration of substance abuse
and related consequences. ISAP work ranges from epidemiological and policy studies to basic
science and human laboratory programs to clinical trials of innovative behavioral therapies and

Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center
The Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center is designed to enhance
knowledge and expertise in addiction treatment and recovery by disseminating clinical
